What will the weather be like?

The best time to visit Destin is in May when the water is warm, the sun is shining and the temps are comfortable — highs in the mid-70s and 80s.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, everybody is welcome.

Any specific outfits?

We’ve got (optional) spirit days each day of “camp”. Please reference the Look Books in the Know Before You Go for outfit planning.

WEDDING DAY

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors.

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Tropical or beachy semi-formal; we kindly ask that everyone dress in bold, bright and happy colors.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony starts at 4:00pm so we suggest you plan to be there at 3:30pm to grab a seat and get settled.

Where do I park? Will transportation be provided?

We highly suggest you walk, golf-cart, or uber to James Lee Beach as parking is extremely limited. The walk between James Lee Beach and the Splash House is under 5 minutes. A golf cart will be avalaible for those who need assistance.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you turn off your devices and enjoy the ceremony with us.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Please send all gifts to the Bride & Groom’s home address as they will be traveling for the wedding and honeymoon.

There will a catered taco bar at the reception.

Will there be an open bar?

A signature drink, as well as beer, wine, and seltzers, will be served.

When will the reception end?

We have a hard stop at 10:00pm due to noise ordinances.

Similar to summer camp, each breakfast and dinner will have a small crew assigned to help Mama Lisa cook and clean. Each person should only have to help once. Schedule will be finalized at a later date. Please see Itinerary & Menus for details about meal planning.

Will there be free time each day?

Tons! Most days have a planned evening activity we’d love for you to join us at, but most days are yours. Go explore the town, eat out or head to the beach. We are planning some optional activities you are welcome to join us for.

Where will we be getting ready on Wedding Day?

We are all getting ready at the house. Gals on the third floor, guys on the first. If you are not staying in the house, please shower before you arrive.
